IN THIS LESSON
We look at Hebrews 13
After so much has been said about what Christ has done to bring an end to the old covenant and bring in the new, the author finishes with some practical application.
Even though these Hebrew people were under intense persecution, they were told to continue to love people and remember those enduring ill treatment for this gospel of grace.
Don’t love money, love people. Get together and remind yourselves and each other the Lord is the One that will help you.
Do not give in to those leaders that are trying to pull you under the Law, hang on to the truths of the new covenant of grace and don’t let go.
Remember your leaders that were brave and taught truths of the reality of what Christ accomplished and imitate their faith.
Go outside of the religious systems to find grace, like Jesus suffered outside the gate.
If you want to bring the Lord a sacrifice, bring Him a sacrifice of praise continuously for what He accomplished in Christ.
Jesus finished the work and sat down and now we can enter His rest. The Lord brought the new covenant to the Jews and the Gentiles, and all are invited to be a part of this new covenant of grace.
I am so glad you joined me as we wrap up the most thorough and informative book on what Christ has done on our behalf.
