112 What is the New Earth and Am I Living on it?
Is the new heaven and new earth already here? What is the new earth and how can I accept it being here when evil and war is all around us? I thought the new heaven and new earth were supposed to be perfect with no more crying, tears, disease, hate, war or sickness? Obviously those things are all around us so how can you ask me to believe this is the new earth?
These are all very valid questions and we are going to look at some possible answers on today’s Grace at LAST Podcast. I am so glad you joined me today.

As we approach the question of prophecy and what has been fulfilled and what is coming, it is important to understand Daniels interpretation of the king’s dream, what will happen in the future and to whom it applies. As we look at Daniel 9, we see that we can understand this prophecy is for Israel, not the whole world. It is also for a period of time and understanding that specific time will enable us to live in truth. That is important because truth sets us free.

Learning and growing is built into us. It is a natural desire to mature and grow in strength and wisdom and the Lord wants to feed that desire. Complacency, boredom, and indifference have no place in our lives when the exciting good news is all around us.

What is God going to do and where do I fit in?
Is God’s anger going to be poured out and if so, on who?
Is God just mad in general and going to wipe out sin or has He already done that, and I can live in that reality today?
