Chapter 1

We look at Ephesians 1.

Right out of the gate Paul begins to tell us what incredible things Christ has done on our behalf.

We learn that we have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places and we begin to understand more of what those blessings are specifically.

We see who God chose to belong to Him and how a person is redeemed. In this chapter we also begin to understand our inheritance and the promise for Jew and Gentile.

Paul is clear in this chapter how a person is saved and sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.

He also tells us the prayer he prayed for these Gentile believers who had place their faith in Christ.

Wisdom revelation, the hope of His calling, His power, His love and the strength of His might toward those who believe, are just some of the riches of His glory.

We have been blessed, so we don’t need to earn, beg, work for or maintain blessings from God.

Christ purchased them for us with His blood and we are inheritors of His will.
